Spirit / Psychic Portrait Gallery
During Spirit Portraiture, I make an intention to connect to spirit then allow the energy to lead. I sketch very quickly and without thought. I believe the images produced evolve by aligning with the energy of a discarnate spirit or consciousness.
To the observer, it may appear to be unpredictable scribbling; yet, as it quickly unfolds the lines surprisingly reveal a familiar face and message filled with the energy of the spirit communicator. The personality somehow reaching across the ether, in an attempt to make contact with loved ones left behind. These spirit contacts often provide information about their lives when they were on Earth so they can be recognised.
This gallery contains a small selection of Portraits with comparable photographs. I have chosen these particular pictures as they illustrate various types of readings. All the portraits, but one, were produced without any prior knowledge of the deceased; the recipients provided the photographs as validation only after the readings . I leave you to judge what on earth is going on!
This reading was for a Portuguese couple who asked for a connection with loved ones. An elderly lady came through first and the portrait was recognised as grandmother, however even more important to them was that she held the hand of a young child. This shows the picture of that child, their daughter who had recently passed away, shortly after her sixth birthday. Wonderful memories where shared, this was a very emotional reading ending with Mariana blowing her parents a kiss through me, as it turned out just like the photo( left) that was used on her obituary.

As we promised I'm sending you some pictures of Mariana so you can choose the one you think is more suitable for your web site. I'm sending as well the one of Mariana as a ballerina. Indeed as you very well said she was amazing and her teacher said Mariana had an impressive natural posture and the special feet only few ballerinas have. You were fantastic in passing us emotions, words, actions that could only belong to our princess. We felt her energy through you.
We felt HER.

This was a very exciting private reading because the client recognised her grandmother instantly. The information included family names as well as many personal memories of her grandmother's long lifetime.The energy continued to lift and I sensed the clients grandfather, also in spirit, linking with her. I wondered if he would affect the portrait. It would be very strange to have a photo-fit of both of them in one portrait! Personal information and advice followed, including the likelihood of her having another child. The sitter said her family was complete with three children, and discounted the possibility at once. About six years later, this client contacted me again and has recently had another baby!
This portrait was produced without any feedback from the client at all, she had no information about the man and could neither confirm nor deny the information given until some time later. It was a real test of faith.She wanted evidence of life after death, but had doubts that anything would come through for her. During the reading, it came to light that she hadn't acknowledged how creative she was, and although she thought she was open-minded, she was blocking her intuition. The portrait was not recognised during the session, and most of the information given was unknown to her. Although the client was unsure, a few months after the reading, she visited her mother in France, taking the portrait and the information she had recorded. She was delighted to discover that the man in the portrait was her grandfather, and the photograph provided by her mother was validation. Some months later the client attended one of my workshops and has since reported a vast change in her ability to tap into her own creativity and intuition.
This was a phone reading in December 2007, my client wished to make a connection with her family and said although she wasn't a 'believer' she was open minded about the experience. From information I was able to interpret, it became obvious to her quite soon the couple that I was sketching were her mum and dad. Both her parents brought images of themselves and memories about their lives when they were young, which remain confidential. They also shared messages of advice for their daughter. The photographs here are shown of the parents both younger and one of dad more recently to give you the sense of how elements of each age can be present within the images they help me to produce. For example Dads little grin is more like the older image than the beaming smile of the younger photograph. Also the second image of mum captures the longer hair style and side parting evident in the portrait.
The following portrait of Janine was drawn during a reading I did for her mother, very soon after her accidental passing. I was still a student medium at the time and this reading had a huge impact on me. Although it is not a photographic likeness the client gave instant confirmation that she recognised the energy and understood why I was referring to her as Mum. Communication was in a very light- hearted way; Janine teased that I had drawn her nose inaccurately, to which her mother laughed! Other personal information was then accepted. The client really felt contented that she had communicated with her daughter Janine.
This was a telephone reading done in January 2008.This was an unusual reading because the clients grandmother came through first see above, then her brother made an appearance as a school boy which the client was delighted about. Her father came through with information but not an image. But as soon as I put down the phone after the reading, the clients father barged in putting his own image over the top of the brothers image in about 3 or 4 minutes. You can see the image above - the drawing has a dark tint because of the over drawing - the photograph is a little older, after he grew the moustache. As you can imagine I didn't quite know what to do as the client was expecting an image of her brother, but suddenly the brother returned with the image at the below in about 30 seconds or less. It was an amazing experience. The 1st photograph shows him at the age he originally appeared, but the portrait is him as an older young man just before he passed away, and as you can see more like the 2nd photo.

I started to recognise the drawing as being of my grandma pretty quickly. The nose and mouth in particular were very similar and also her hairstyle. We have a family photo of her with her whole family taken when she was about 40, and the way she had her hair pinned up and also the direction she was sitting and looking was a lot like the picture you drew.In the reading, you said it was a female presence and that I feel she's around a lot and that I talk to her often, which is very true. She's probably the only relative in spirit, who I chat away to and ask for help. You described her personality perfectly and also mentioned that she had Gout or arthritis, both of which she suffered from. You gave some very accurate information from her with regards to members of the family, both current and in the past. Some of this I only had confirmed after the reading and was information that only a family member would know about.
It gave a lot of comfort not only to me, but also the rest of my family, so thanks again for the reading you gave me.
Summer 2006 This was a lovely private reading because the client recognised her fathers energy instantly. The connection between them was very close and lots of love was exchanged. She wrote: " Your contact with my father has meant so much to me. The photo of my father was taken in 1932. I think I may have a better photo for you when I go back to the states. Thank you."
This portrait was produced in 1994 during a student demonstration collaborating with other student mediums. This man turned out to be the great grandfather of one of our guests and she wrote to me several years afterwards having checked the information given. Names, dates and letters sent in the 1940's mentioned were actually found along with his photograph. I thinks its wonderful when this happens!
This was a private reading in March 06 where, unknown to me, my client wanted to connect with her boyfriend who had passed away in March 05 when she was out of the country. Her grandmother came in first, but on giving advice and sending love she said she was stepping aside as there was someone else that wanted to make a connection; my client was delighted as she instantly recognized her boyfriend from the portrait that was developing under her eyes, more precious because she didn't even have a photograph of him; she felt relief at last after one year. Several months later the mans sister gave my client this photograph shown; one of the precious few of him as a young man. She believes the photo shows him slightly younger than in the drawing. My client was pleased to share this likeness of him for my web site and also the sense of comfort she felt when he had connected, even perhaps the idea that he had in some way managed to influence his sister to at last bring her a photograph.
This was a telephone reading. A spirit guide was requested rather than a family member, which is more popular for those people who are ready to acknowledge their own spiritual journey. This spirit guide presented himself to me as a Native American Indian Shaman. He was linked to the client by a past life experience. Information I received gave the sitter insights about her life. She had experienced many synchronicities regarding her desire to live and work in America. Within a month the client was compelled to travel to America again where she had a chance meeting with a man who was an actual Native American Indian Shaman. He verified her link with Shamanism. This case highlights how a guiding energy, can influence the life choices and appearance of an individual without them realising it; on this occasion it was obviously the hairstyle. The client had created an interesting and unusual hairstyle along similar lines to this several years before and felt very comfortable with it. The energy in this portrait continues to be inspiring to her.
This was a one to one reading. A spirit guide was requested on this occasion. This spirit guide presented himself to me as an Aboriginal Shaman. He was linked to the client because of an idea she had expressed that he could help with. Information I received gave the sitter insights about her life. He had come to remind her to express the feminine aspect of herself. His calm manner enveloped us both and brought through lots of inspiring ways of being going forward.
This was a reading at the CPS. Again a spirit guide was requested and as you can see it was an unusual twin energy. This was the first time this had happened to me. The following is feedback from the client...
'"I asked for my spirit guides to come forth so that I might meet them and get to know them. And boy did they come forth! I couldn't believe the energy I felt when June started this reading and this energy seemed to stay with me for weeks afterward. It made so much sense to see them. The man - a Jewish Mystic - I've known about him for a long time and felt his influence bringing me power to make life decisions and have the courage of my convictions to pursue my life journey according to my needs and not letting other's beliefs push me off track. The chinese lady - she came as a surprise and a beautiful surprise at that. I felt an instant longing to know her, but she seems quite shy. I feel her influence in the way that I have changed in the last few years from being bull-headed about certain issues to being more softly, softly, so to speak. The two, to me, in terms of personality seem at two ends of the spectrum. However, they seem so naturally and successfully united in their 'wants' for me. I wouldn't be who I am and where I am without both these very different friends."
This was also a telephone reading. Again a spirit guide was requested and as you can see it was an unusual twin energy. This has only happened recently, 3 or 4 times to date. The following is feedback from the client...When June-Elleni started I felt she connected with the essence of me immediately. Before she started the drawing she took me back to an incident in my childhood and helped me clear it. It was incredibly accurate and touched a nerve that has affected my whole life.The drawing was even more astounding as it was a twin energy and in fact no-one knows that my whole life I have always felt that I should have been a twin!!! When she described the twin energy it all rang true as to how I operate in life and I have always felt that there are 2 parts to me, both very different, as she described, and my friends often comment on that very fact. I definitely have a separate male and female side to me and in the drawing the male energy looks dominant which rings true to my personality. When she described the female intuitive energy it was totally accurate as to how I work. After the telephone session I sat for 10 minutes and literally could not move as my body felt like jelly. I felt as if a huge shift had taken place within me and that I was different. It was hard to believe that a telephone session could be so powerful. When the drawing arrived the following day, I was so happy to have the twin soul energy in form. It is such an added bonus to have the picture and be able to tune into the energy frequency as it is a very comforting feeling.

This was a telephone reading Jan 07. A guide was requested and unusually the clients father showed himself to be that guide.
His name was given to cement the connection along with advice about other family members. My client had apparently been told a year ago that her father was helping and guiding her so this was validation.
This reading also shows that family members can indeed become guiding lights when they pass on. My clients father had passed in an accident when she was only a baby so this connection was very comforting for her.
A synchronicity... My client informed me it was her fathers birthday on the day these pictures were added to this web site. She took this as a positive sign of his influence in this dimension.
This was a postal reading June 2006, I had not seen or spoken to the client before and linked in to his loved ones in spirit, using the energy of his letter. I drew pictures of three family members, this particular one is his mother. The client confirmed he could understand the information that accompanied each of the pictures. The clients mother seemed amused about the glasses she is wearing… apparently someone sat on them and bent them. The reason perhaps, she wears different glasses in the photograph, the drawing also shows her a little younger. I received the photograph shown here, along with permission to share this experience on the web site. It seems spirit can connect without even having their family in the same room as the picture they help to create.
This picture was one of a series I sketched straight after receiving an email from Jenny Smedley. I sketched this picture quickly in pencil as my pastels weren't to hand. I had the feeling of a dark coloured Lab/Alsatian cross. I got the impression she lived to a good age and finally had to be put down by the vet. I got the message that she was now a puppy again! I received the photograph along with the following feedback May 2006 :
We had a dog called Ace, who I very sadly had to have put to sleep (the vet came to the house), two years ago next month. I was devastated. I'd had many dogs but none like this. I said I'd never get another - but in Sept 2004 I consulted a psychic in Arizona and without my mentioning her, she brought through Ace, who said she was 'young again'. When we got home we were pushed into seeing some pups that were born the same day I saw the psychic. Ace had a nipple missing from surgery, and one puppy was born with one missing. So, needless to say we had to have her! I believe she is Ace returned to us :) Your drawing is the same dog :) it is so nice to have this extra confirmation - thank you!!!!!!!
The Psychic Show - LBC Radio
This Psychic portrait was drawn live on air on Friday 2nd June 2006 while Becky Walsh tuned in with me to give clairvoyant information about this man. We asked for listeners to write in and claim him. This picture has now been placed. Details as received below the information we picked up and comparison photo.
The name of William was given, which links to this man. He brings an image of himself in his late 20's although he was much older when he died, which was within the last five years. He had plenty of hair, even as he got older, he was proud not to have lost it. He would have considered himself a good looking man. He came specifically to let his wife / partner know that he is okay now and wants to say to her "don't be upset about me." He had a chest complaint which made him breathless, and possibly a heart condition. There was the sense of having had surgery with a possible scar on his chest. He particularly liked to be outside, and brings fond memories of rolling his sleeves up and working in his garden.
"Herewith my husbands photo who I believe you connected with on radio LBC. My daughter in law showed me the picture on her computer. He is called William Streeter and died with a heart attack last May 05. I so miss him and it was good to see this. Thank you."

The name of Molly was given and connected to Edward also in spirit... A link to the name of John who is still alive, as well as a link name of Amy - perhaps a young grandchild.
The lady was a mother and a grandmother and lived locally in Cornwall ( or her family do )
She either wore some kind of uniform or striped dress very often. She shows herself younger than when she passed in this portrait so you will have to look for photos of your mother or grandmother when she was a young woman in her early 30's. :)
Molly has been named 11 months after the drawing was done - She is Molly Statton, nee Fry from Tingangel and strangely the connection came to me via New Zealand. The names and further private information match and a small photo exists of the Fry family together at this age, see below.
An Interesting Experiment:
I was asked to link to the energy of Diana, Princess of Wales.
These pictures were never used by the author who requested them for his book cover, so were perhaps just meant to be used as examples of this unusual experiment.
I normally work without prior knowledge of how people in spirit looked during their lifetime. This prevents logic from blocking the process by tempting me to try to draw what I think is correct. I do not profess to be a portrait artist, and I rely almost entirely on the spirit energy present to produce the picture; that's how psychic art works, so this was a curious challenge for me. It is interesting to note, this is the only time I worked using purple charcoals to produce a face. My logical thinking was somewhat uncomfortable about my intuition to draw her face in purple, as you can imagine! However, when I let go of the inhibition and began I was surprised and pleased with the whole experience.
I simply asked for the energy of Diana's spirit to come forward in order to create this portrait. I felt the energy I linked to was genuine. However logical thinking decided the likeness was not as expected so a further picture was necessary. The second picture is probably more accurate from a physiological point of view, certainly the public face of Diana anyway! Although personally I prefer this picture.
This portrait is the first and to date only portrait I have drawn by linking through a photograph, which was provided by the author who had requested this experiment. I felt this time Diana's spirit had enlisted help in the form of another spirit who was more experienced in art to produce this likeness. As you can see the style of drawing is different and I felt more distant and formal in my approach than with the previous one. I do feel however, that Diana added the red rose, with a message of peace, especially as it was not in the original photograph.
